Apartment R3

In our renovated farmhouse you can enjoy comfortable and relaxing days on the island of Reichenau in historical walls at Lake Constance.

By depositing the keys in a key safe, a flexible and uncomplicated arrival and departure is possible.

The maisonette apartment R3 is located on the ground floor/1st floor in south-east orientation and can be combined with apartment 4, depending on availability, with a passage door. The entrance and the terrace face south.

Arrival and departure

Check in is possible from 15 o'clock, check out until 10 o'clock.

The handing over of the keys is uncomplicated with a key safe.

On departure, the apartment must be left tidy and broom-clean, this includes washing the dishes and disposing of the rubbish in the bins provided for this purpose at the house. Please also note the waste separation.

Equipment

On arrival you will find freshly made beds and 1 shower towel and 1 towel per person in your apartment.

Each apartment is also equipped with basic kitchen utensils.

For hygienic reasons we cannot provide you with food such as spices or oil. Please bring these things yourself.

Neighbourhood

Surroundings

The house is centrally located on the island of Reichenau. Perfect for all those who like to have a place of retreat but still don't want to miss being in the city quickly.

The lovely island, washed by water, is located in the western part of Lake Constance and was awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Between the three famous medieval churches, regional vegetables, fresh herbs and excellent wine thrive in the market gardens, fields and vineyards.

On the island itself, everything is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle.

The lido and the harbour of the island are only 500 metres away from the house.

Various shops of daily life like baker, pharmacy, hairdresser or a savings bank are also only 500 meters away.

The next shopping possibility offers the local Nahkauf which is located about 1 km away. Furthermore there are a lot of small fruit and vegetable stands and fresh fish stands. A bigger shopping possibility offers the new Lidl on the mainland, which is reachable by car in about 10 minutes. #

The city of Konstanz can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.

Transport

Public transportation

On the island itself, all the sights, restaurants etc. can be reached either on foot or even faster by bike. The surrounding area as well as the city of Konstanz can also be easily and comfortably reached by bicycle thanks to the well-developed network of cycle paths.

The nearest bus stop (Mittelfeld/Museum) with connections on the island as well as to the train station Reichenau with further connections to Konstanz is about 700 meters away.

Reichenau railway station is about 6 kilometres away and can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.

With the guest card, which you will receive upon arrival, you can use public transport free of charge.

Parking

If you arrive by car, you are welcome to park in the gravel parking lot above the grounds or on the opposite side of Wittigowo Street. Parking there is free of charge.
